This morning, the highly anticipated 2025 the 8th Paper Industry Exchange Meeting of 10 Provinces (Areas) in China was held in Hall 2 of Poly World Trade Expo Center in Pazhou District, Guangzhou. More than 300 corporate representatives and professionals from paper-making and upstream and downstream related industries gathered together for the meeting.

Mr. LIU Dexin, Secretary General of Shandong Light Industry Machinery Association, delivered a speech with the theme of "Adhere to Innovative Development and Promote the Digital and Intelligent Transformation and Upgrading of Shandong Paper-making Equipment", systematically expounded the development pattern and future direction of our country's and Shandong Province's paper-making equipment industry. According to incomplete statistics, the sales revenue of paper-making machinery in China had reached around 20 billion CNY in 2024, and Shandong Province contributed around 4 billion CNY, accounting for one-fifth of the country. With many advantageous products and enterprises, China's pulp and paper equipment has begun to ranks as advanced in the world. In the future, the development direction of paper-making equipment is to rely on the connotation development of technological progress, focusing on structural adjustment, new product development, and high-end and differentiated products.

BCTMP Innovative Process Technology and Applications

Mr. ZHANG Dongji, Chemical Mechanical Pulp Expert of Zhengzhou Yunda Paper Machinery Co., Ltd., shared his speech with the topic of "i-BCTMP Innovative Process Technology and Application".

Mr. ZHANG introduced the basic principles, key technologies and application cases of i-BCTMP in detail. The i-BCTMP pulping process uses a high-temperature silking system to produce softened wood fibers with the least energy consumption. Chemical treatment is carried out simultaneously after the wood fibers are formed or during the silking process to maximize the efficiency of chemicals, reduce energy and chemical consumption, and increase pulp yield. There are many successful cases of the application of i-BCTMP technology in bleached chemical mechanical pulp, such as the high bulk thickness chemical mechanical pulp technical transformation project of a factory in Shandong and the high strength chemical mechanical pulp technical transformation project of a factory in Xinxiang, Henan, showing the technical advantages of Yunda i-BCTMP.
